VIP car stolen; 3 arrested

Dewas(MP), Sep 7(UNI) Three youth were arrested after they forcibly lifted a VIP car meant for use by Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat during his Ujjain visit today.

Police said the car, hired from a travel agency at Indore, was being taken to Ujjain when it was stolen by the trio here last night after threatening the driver at knife point.

Police said the accused- Golu, Vijay Teli and Bijju Nayak- were arrested at Indore and the vehicle recovered.

Police said driver Ajay Jadhav, in order to earn a fast buck, gave lift to few passengers and on reaching Dewas, he was forced out of the vehicle.
