Undertrial attacks cop in court premises

Nagpur, Sep 7 (UNI) An undertrial attacked escorting cops in the court premises here today after he was prevented from partaking home-made food brought by his wife.

Policemen had brought along six undertrials to the court for hearing. The wife of one of the undertrials had brought food for her husband but the escorting policeman did not allow him to partake the toud.

At this, the undertrial and another accused attacked the policeman. The other policemen rushed to the help of their colleague and overpowered the miscreants.

Constable Rajendra Prasad Daphare has lodged a complaint against the Rockey George alias Antoni and Shiv Charan Haldi Prasad Shivacharya with the Sadar Police in this regard.
