Munda will prove majority in House: BJP

Dehra Dun, Sep 7 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today expressed confidence the Arjun Munda-led government in Jharkhand will prove its majority in the state Assembly.

Talking to newspersons, BJP Spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said the government had a week's time to prove its majority and the party is absolutely confident that Chief Minister Arjun Munda will prove his majority.

The government has been asked to prove its majority by September 15.

Asked the basis of his claim, Mr Prasad replied ''wait and watch'' and said the Congress party has always attempted to destabilise opposition governments using fair or foul tactics.

''This time they will not succeed,'' he added.
