Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Malavalli, Bellary 5 each; Pavgada 4; Gundlupet, Bukkapatna, Bangalore city 3 each; K.R.Pet, CN.Halli 2 each; Soundatti, Afzalpur, Somwarpet, Challakere Koratagere, Sira, Bangalore AP 1 each.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka.

Forecast for Farmers: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Gadag, Gulbarga, Raichur, Kodagu, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Mandya, Kolar, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Tumkur districts, at isolated places over remaining districts of the State.
