Engineer jumps to death from North Block

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) A 42-year-old unemployed engineer today jumped to his death from the North Block rooftop this afternoon, allegedly due to frustration.

V O Gunashekharan, who had earlier worked as an engineer with GE Capital and was presently unemployed, jumped from the rooftop of North Block where he had gone to meet an official of the Finance Ministry at about 1315 hrs, said a senior police official.

He was rushed to the RML Hospital but was declared 'brought dead'.

Hailing from Hosur in Tamil Nadu, Gunashekharan in his suicide note had mentiond that he was frustrated and hence committing suicide.
