CWC to meet on September 10
New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) The Congress Working Committee, the highest policy making body of the Congress, will meet here on September 10, according to party sources.
The CWC is likely to discuss preparations for the seventh Congress Chief Ministers Conclave to be held in Naini Tal in Uttaranchal on September 23 and 24.
Agriculture and internal security are going to be the main focus of the two-day conclave to be attended by 14 Chief Ministers of the Congress-ruled States.
Celebrations to be organised in various States to commemorate Satyagraha observed by Mahatma Gandhi during the pre-independence days in India is also likely to figure during the CWC meeting, the sources said.
