Cong Minority Dept chiefs for 4 states named

New Delhi, Sep 7: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the appointment of chairmen of the AICC Minority Department for four States.

Mr Satyvrat Chaturvedi, incharge of the AICC departments, in a release today said Mr Rahmat Alio has been made Chairman for Himachal Pradesh, Mr S M Shahbuddin for West Bengal, Mr Misbahul Islam Laskar for Asom and Mr Assaraf Subudin for Daman and Diu.

Mr Abhay Awasthi has been made chairman of the Kisan and Khet Mazdoor Congress, according to the release.
