CBI court frames charges against MCD JE

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) A CBI court today framed charges against a Junior Engineer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) who was caught with nearly Rs 31 lakh in assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Special Judge (CBI) G B Mittal framed charges under sections 13(2) and 13(1)(E) of the Prevention of Corruption Act against the official Vijay Kumar Verma.

The CBI claimed that he amassed the ill gotten wealth between 1986 to 1999.
