Cabinet approves changes in pact for B'lore airport

New Delhi, Sep 7: The union cabinet today gave its approval for signing of two agreements between the centre and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) to reflect changes in the concession agreement.

Due to re-design in the greenfield airport project at Devenhalli in Bangalore, certain paragraphs of the concession agreement needed to be amended to reflect the enhanced scope of work and specifications, an official spokesperson said.

The concession agreement was earlier signed on July 5, 2004.
