Badal hints at Sidhu's candidature against Amarinder

Jalandhar, Sep 7 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) president Parkash Singh Badal today said suggestion of fielding former cricketer and BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu against Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in the next assembly election might be considered at an appropriate time.

Talking to reporters at Adampur near here, Mr Badal said that as of now no such move had figured at the party level but this might be considered by SAD and BJP leadership at an appropriate time.

He clarified that no decision has so far been taken on nomination of any of the candidates as the elections were still months away.
