Additional relief package of Rs 300 crore

Ahmedabad, Sept 7: In addition to the Rs 215 crore relief package for agricultural sector, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has worked out a second package of Rs 300 crore for commerce and service sectors in Surat and other flood affected areas of the state, an official release said.

The Rs 300 crore package would benefit 55,000 units in the State.

Small units will get cash relief upto Rs 25,000, while those small units not qualifying for this relief, will get a rebate of five per cent interst on loans.
