53 child labourers rescued

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) Bandhu Mukti Morcha today claimed to have rescued 53 child labourers working for Kilkari, an organisation making zaris, with the help of police.

President of the Morcha Swami Agniwesh along with SDM South Delhi, SHO Sriniwaspuri led a raid at the office of Kilkari and got the children freed.

The children from Bihar were in the age-group between 10- 15 yrs.

The details of a an inquiry conducted by a ten-member team of the morcha revealed that the children were made to work for long hours and under ''adverse'' conditions, a release here said.
