4 NTPC projects bag Safety Innovation Award-2006

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has been conferred the Safety Innovation Award-2006 for four of its projects at Ramagundam, Korba, Kahalgaon and Dadri.

The award, instituted by Safety and Quality Forum of the Institution of Engineers (India), New Delhi, has been given to the projects for their outstanding contribution towards innovating, promoting and implementing Best Safety Practices.

The awards were presented by Power Secretary R V Shahi during the inaugural function of Safety Convention-2006 here.

Mr Pradeep Chaturvedi, Chairman, Safety and Quality Forum was present on the occasion, an official release said today.
