We all will sing Vande Mataram tomorrow: Munda
Ranchi, Sep 6 (UNI) Vande Mataram will be sung across Jharkhand to mark the centenary of the National Song tomorrow, Chief Minister Arjun Munda has said.
Mr Munda, dogged by toughest ever political crisis following resignation of four ministers from his NDA government yesterday, asserted last night at a meeting of BJP workers here that people from all over the state would sing the national song tomorrow.
Mr Munda, who was in Delhi yesterday to attend a meeting with the Prime Minister, rushed to the state capital last night following the political development and on his return he addressed the party workers.
Later talking to reporters, he asserted that his government's stand on rendition of the song as mandatory in all educational institutions stood unaltered.
The BJP has planned to ensure singing of Vande Mataram at important public places at every district headquarters at 0900 hrs tomorrow.
In the state capital, the party along with members of its minority cell would gather at the Elbert Ekka Chowk to mark the occasion.
