Two die in a fire cracker explosion

Sambalpur, Sep 6 (UNI) Two youths were killed and several injured in Beheramal inside Jharsuguda town today, due to an explosion in a firecracker godown.

Police said the explosion took place due to fire in the godown.

The reason of fire was yet to be ascertained.

The deceased were working as labourers in the godown and had been identified as Dinesh Singhdeo and Balairam Singhdeo.

Police sent the body for post-mortem.

Other residential houses close to the godown and a hotel had been affected due to the fire and explosion.

However, the fire was controlled by the fire tenders after a tiresome effort.
