Two Delhi police constables arrested for graft
New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) A Delhi police head constable and constable were arrested for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
Constables Hans Raj and Vasudev, posted at Chandi Chowk police station, were arrested red handed on September 4 while accepting money.
Complainant Ashok Sharma, who runs a hardware shop in Barahpuri areas, said the two policemen had demanded the money for not serving a recovery letter and executing a arrest warrant against him.
Further investigations are in progress.
