Students should be motivated to imbibe physics: Collector
Vijayawada, Sep 6 (UNI)Krishna District Collector Navin Mittal today said the students should be motivated to visualise things happening in surroundings to imbibe physics in their life.
Inaugurating the two-day Regional Orientation Workshop for teachers on Physics organised by National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) here, he said the inherent intellectual skills in the students should be brought out by allowing them to think and to make a difference in their lives.
He said India has the reputation of having good scientists, engineers and technologists and more needed to cater the needs of growing demands in science and technology.
Mr Mittal said the Regional Science Centre which was established by the Andhra Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) was getting good response for the last one year and nearly 12,000 students and public had visited the Centre.
