NTPC wins safety innovation awards

New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Safety Innovation Awards 2006, have been conferred on NTPC projects in Korba, Kahalgaon, Dadri and Ramagundam.

The award, instituted by Safety and Quality Forum of the Institution of Engineers, were presented for outstanding contribution towards innovating, promoting and implementing best safety practices, according to the NTPC press release.

The awards were presented by Union Secretary of Power R V Shahi, here today.
