NMRs hold agitation

Tirupati, Sep 6 (UNI) NMRs of Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) today staged a dharna before the university administrative building in protest against their long pending demands, including time scales and EPF benefit, to daily wage employees here.

About 600 NMRs working in various departments in SVU gathered at the university office and raised slogans against university's 'anti-NMR' attitude.

Meanwhile, the university constituted a seven-member sub- committee head by Prof Mohan to look into the issue.
