Hospital returns Professor's heart to CID
Ujjain, MP, Sep 6 (UNI) Indore-based Maharaja Yashwant Rao Hospital has refused to examine late Professor H S Sabharwal's heart and returned it saying the packet was not properly sealed, official sources said today.
The CID had sent the professor's heart to the hospital, which returned it yesterday. The CID will properly pack the heart and send it again to the hospital.
The district hospital and police administration shrugged off their responsibilities in this matter saying that the whole matter was with the CBI.
Prof Sabharwal had died on August 26 when students, irked over postponement of student unions election, attacked him. A statewide bandh was organised by the Congress yesterday to protest the alleged murder.
The Congress had demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.
