Heavy downpour in Udaipur, Kota divisions

Jaipur, Sep 6 (UNI) Rajasthan's Udaipur and Kota divisions are witnessing heavy downpour today even as Bikaner, Ajmer and Jaipur divisions remained dry.

Banswara in Udaipur division is experiencing heavy showers.

The weather department reported that Sajjangarh received 90 mm, Bagidora 47, Banswara 37, Kesharpur 33, Choti Sadri 14 mm rains in Udaipur division over the past 24 hours.

In Jodhpur division, Mount Abu recorded 43.6 and Jaswantpur 8 mm rains. Jhalawar district's Dug recorded 74, Pirawa 58, Aklera 50, Gangadhar 48, Bakani 53.6, Asnawar 24 mm rains till this morning.

Weather remained cloudy in the state capital and witnessed drizzles in some parts of the city.

Meteorological department has predicted rains in several parts of south Rajasthan and some parts in the north over the next 24 hours.
