Forest personnel kidnapped

Bagaha, Sep 6 (UNI) Unidentified armed criminals kidnapped a godown manager of the forest department from Laukaria police station area in West Champaran district late last night.

Police superintendent Baldeo Prasad today said criminals attacked a godown of the forest department at Madanpur and kidnapped Srinivas Sharma at gunpoint.

Raids were being conducted in Gandak diara area to rescue the victim and nab the kidnappers, Mr Prasad added.
