Dasmunsi condoles Padmanabhan's death
New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi has condoled the death of veteran journalist B. S.
Padmanabhan, describing him as a versatile reporter who wielded his pen fearlessly and with accuracy.
In his condolence message, Mr Dasmunsi said, ''A versatile reporter, Padmanabhan would handle any issue ranging from science and technology to population with equal ease.'' Besides his versatility, the minister said, he was highly respected for his upright and fearless writing. ''His incisive analysis reflected his deep understanding of the issues. As a reporter, he would have an unflinching commitment to the timeliness and accuracy of the report.'' Padmanabhan was among the class of journalists who would not compromise on the quality of their report and provide a model for the younger generation of mediapersons, he said.
''I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that his soul may rest in peace in Heaven,'' Mr Dasmunsi said in his condolence message.
