Congress-NCP Coordination committee formed in Maharashtra
New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) The Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which are sharing power in Maharashtra, have constituted a Coordination Committee for the smooth functioning of the ruling coalition in the state.
The Coordination Committee will have eight members from both the side, AICC General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said here today.
The committee will have the following members : NCP General Secretary Prafulla Patel, AICC General Secretary Margaret Alva, Maharahstra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Dy Chief Minister R R Patil, Maharashtra NCP President Arun Gujarati, Maharashtra PCC Chief Prabha Rau, Mumbai NCP President Sachin Ahir, MLA and Mumbai RCC President Gurudas Kamat, MP.
