Cable Operators need to register network as per Govt norms

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh Sep 6 (UNI) S Srinivas Jeevan, Nodal Officer of Cable TV Regulation Act and District Public Relations Officer, West Godavari district today said all the cable operators in the district should register their network, as per the norms of the Government.

He said the Government has issued orders to implement single formula registration to the cable network in the state and asked district officials to implement the 1995 Act.

Mr Jeevan said the operators should broadcast Doordarshan channels as per the Act and Government orders. Violation, if any, would be strictly dealt with, he added.
