2 NSCN-IM cadres killed in factional clash

Kohima, Sep 6 (UNI) At least two NSCN-IM cadres were killed and as many injured in an inter-factional clash in Nagaland's Phek district. Official sources today said that a mobile camp of NSCN-IM was yesterday attacked by cadres of NSCN(K) and 'Federal Government of Nagaland' (FGN). There was heavy exchange of fire which left at least two cadres killed and a few injured.

The exact number of casualty could not be confirmed as the NSCN(K) reportedly refused to hand over the slain cadres of NSCN-IM despite requests from the district administration and police.

The NSCN(K), however, claimed that they had killed three NSCN-IM cadres and injured four when their 'strike force' attacked the camp.
