Women ends life alongwith her kid

Akola, Sep 5 (UNI) A women committed suicide by consuming poison alongwith her one-year-old daughter at her residence at Shivni village under Aasegaon police station in Washim district yesterday.

The deceased were identified as - Rinki Raju Bhendekar (23) and her daughter Sakshi (1). At the time of the incident her husband was present in a 'Bhajan' programme of the village.

After he returned home he found his wife and daughter was suffering from respiratory problem. Both of them died on the way to Washim hospital.

The father of the deceased - Prakash Bhimrao Ghuge has lodged a complaint with the police that his daughter took the extreme step due to torture by her-in-laws.

Police have registered a case against three of the deceased's in-laws.
