Light intensity earthquake shakes Meghalaya

Shillong, Sept 5: An earthquake of light intensity shook Meghalaya's capital today.

The tremor, measuring 3.8 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 7 am with an epicentre about 44 km away from North West of Shillong, Central Seismological office at Upper Shillong told UNI here.

There was no report of any loss of life or property.
