Three of a family gunned down

Sheohar, Sep 5 (UNI) Three members of a family were shot dead by armed criminals at Bhaudihan village in Sheohar district late last night.

District police superintendent K K Verma today said that the criminals barged into the house of Kali Singh and fired indiscriminately killing him and his son Ramadhar on the spot while his grandson Suraj died on the way to hospital.

Anil Singh, a relative of the victims, lodged an FIR and named Neeraj Kumar Singh, Manish Kumar Singh and Ravindra Singh as the accused in the case.

Raids were on to nab the criminals.

The motive behind the triple murder was yet to be ascertained, Mr Verma said.
