Teachers must be responsible to shape students' future: Governor

Itanagar, Sep 5 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor S K Singh today said that the teaching community must recognise their responsibilities to shape the future of the students.

Speaking at a function here to celebrate Teachers' Day here, where 28 teachers were awarded, the Governor said the teaching community must set examples, which the students would follow.

Stressing on the need for strict implementation of rules in all educational institutions, Mr Singh urged upon the teachers to recognise their responsibilities and implementation of rules.

State PWD and Urban Development Minister Nabam Tuki, acting vice- chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University Professor Tomo Mibang and education secretary Ganesh Koyu were among others, who spoke on the occasion.
