SJVNL's CMD bags industry excellence award 2006

Shimla, Sep 5 (UNI) Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited's (SJVNL) Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) H K Sharma has been conferred with the ''Industry Excellence Award 2006'' for his overall achievements and magnificent contributions to the betterment of society.

Union Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi and Minister of State for Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies Akhilesh Prasad Singh presented the award to Mr Sharma at the 18th Annual Cultural Festival at New Delhi on sunday.

The award, instituted by Delhi Telugu Academy, honours people for promoting universal core values.
