Bangalore, Sep 5 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over the State. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Somwarpet 3, Mulki, Indi, Yadgir, Sedam, Bijapur, Gundlupet, Arsikere 1 each Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara districts.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over the remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast: Generally cloudy. Light rain likely towards evening.
