PVR Indore mulitplex granted entertainment tax exemption

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) PVR Ltd today said its five-screen multiplex at Indore in Madhya Pradesh has been granted exemption from the payment of entertainment tax for a period of 5 years.

The exemption is applicable from the date on which the multiplex started commercial operations -- April 7, 2006 -- for a period of five years.

This move is in accordance with the entertainment tax exemption policy as applicable in Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier the company's six-screen multiplex at Mulund, Mumbai, had also been granted entertainment tax exemption for 5 years.
