Minister's brother commits suicide

Akola, Sep 5 (UNI) Mr Ganesh alias Munna Shingne (36) the younger brother of Minister of State for Revenue and Rehabilitation, Dr Rajendra Shingne has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison, at his native place at Buldana. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained, police said today.

The deceased consumed poison yesterday and died around noon, hospital sources said.

His mortal remains were consigned to flames late last evening.

He is survived by his mother Prabhavati, wife Gauri, son Gaurav (9) and daughter Gayatri (11).

A case of accidental death has been registered and further investigations are on, police added.
