Jessica case: Absconding doc surrenders

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) J S Bedi, the absconding doctor who was accused of helping Jessica Lal murder co-accused Vikas Gill flee the country, today surrendered before the Patiala House court.

Judge Kamini Laul interrogated the doctor for ten minutes in the court before remanding him to three days' police custody.

Bedi, who had been at large for more than a fortnight, had provided false medical certificates to Vikas to help him flee the country.
