Fiat CEO says could develop low-cost car with Tata

VENICE, Italy, Sep 5 (Reuters) Italian car-maker Fiat is studying the option to develop a low-cost car with its Indian partner Tata Motors .

''It will be in the short term as they have already done most of the work,'' Marchionne said late on Monday at the end of a dinner organised for the 100th anniversary of the Lancia brand.

''We will add our know-how, and maybe the money,'' he added.
