CPM calls 'bandh' at Chakda on Sep 7
Nadia, Sep 5 (UNI) The CPM party workers at Chakda in the district has called a '12 hour bandh' here on September seven against the alleged misdeeds of All India Trinamool Congress(AITC).
The party alleged that some workers of the district Trinamool Congress had murdered two persons here last night.
Chakda Zonal Committee Secretary Anmol Bhowmik said the victims, identified as Narain Das(35) and Sudhansu Ray(32), were 'brutally murdered' by some AITC miscreants.
He said the murder was planned as the victims had earlier witnessed an AITC worker allegedly killing Sankar Biswas.
District Superintendent of Police Ajay Nanda said investigation was on to trace the culprits and the motive behind the murder.
However,no one has been arrested so far.
Meanwhile, Nadia Trinamool Congress President Naresh Chaki refuted the allegations of the CPM calling it 'planned' and 'baseless'.
