Congress expels Jagat Singh
Jaipur, Sep 5 (UNI) The disciplinary committee of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee today expelled Laxmangarh legislator Jagat Singh from primary membership of the party for his anti-party activities.
Enumerating the reasons behind the expulsion, the state Congress chief B D Kalla said Jagat Singh failed to reply to the party notice sent to him on August 18 and also criticised senior party leaders at a recent rally here.
Jagat Singh is son of former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh. Bboth the father and the son have been indicted in the Iraqi Oil-for-Food scam.
