Bhutan Telecom signs IN system contract with Ericsson
New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) Bhutan Telecom today announced the signing of a 100,000 line, Intelligent Network (IN) systems contract with Ericsson.
The Ericsson pre-paid IN system will enable Bhutan Telecom with real-time rating of prepaid voice calls and SMS, as well as a platform to launch new value added services.
''We have a strong partner in Ericsson. Bhutan Telecom will benefit from having the Core and IN network from a single partner in introducing new promotions and features in a seamless manner,'' Bhutan Telecom Managing Director Thinley Dorji said.
''We are pleased that Bhutan Telecom has chosen Ericsson for providing the Pre-Paid IN system. We will work together to ensure that their subscribers get the best in class cellular service in the country,'' said Ericsson Managing Director Mats Granryd.
