Arjun Munda govt in Jharkhand reduced to minority
Ranchi, Sep 5: The 18-month-old NDA government, led by Chief Minister Arjun Munda, was reduced to a minority with the resignation of four Ministers today.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madhu Koda, Rural Development Minister Anosh Ekka, Forest Minister Harinarayan Rai and Water Resources, Food and Civil Supply Minister Kamlesh Singh tendered their resignations to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi through fax.
In the morning, the dissidence-torn BJP-led NDA government plunged into further crisis with Mr Singh announcing to resign from the government following his alleged detention by the police in Jamshedpur on his way to Kolkata.
