3i Infotech acquires G4 Software Technologies

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) 3i Infotech Ltd today said it has acquired G4 Software Technologies (India) Ltd, engaged in the area of payment services, back office exception processing solutions and business process integration services.

''The consulting and payment services of G4 compliments with the company's banking offerings and it expects a significant scope for IT consulting in this area. The BEEP can be used with our Mutual Fund products to do reconciliation and also for other businesses with high volumes like credit cards, PDC factory and other BPO areas which the company prepares to target in near future,'' a 3i Infotech statement said.

G4 is a company with Rs 8.4 crore annual revenue and employs 50 people.

Its payments services relate to financial network solutions for SWIFT, enterprise payments solutions, Real Time Gross Settlement solutions (RTGS), migrating legacy payment solutions such as MERVA from a mainframe environment and single european payments architecture.

Its back-office exception processing framework (BEEP) can be used in many processes including mutual fund accounting and reconciliations, error ticketing/ trade breaks for securities companies, and claims processing/under-writing for insurance companies. The business process integration services include offering consulting services on IBM Websphere using technologies such as WBI Process Modeler, workflow, portal server, integration tools, MQ series, on mainframes, Unix and NT systems.
