Worker escapes with diamonds worth Rs 3.5 lakh

Surat, Sep 4 (UNI) A diamond worker, who was a supervisor with a diamond unit here, has run away with diamonds worth Rs 3.5 lakh, the Kapodra police said here today.

The accused was employed by Mr Ramesh Bhai Savani, who today noticed that the worker has run away with diamonds worth Rs 3.5 lakh. He then registered a complaint with the police, officials added.
