Two women drowned

Hassan, Sep 4 (UNI) In a freak incident, two women were drowned in Sri Ramadevara Halli Mini Reservoir in Holenarasipur taluk in the district this morning.

Police said that four friends had been to the village on an excursion when one of them got slipped and fell into the water, another women who went to her rescue also met watery grave. Both of them were washed away in the flash flood.

The body of Tejaswini (19) was recovered and search is on to recover the body of Jyothi (20).
