Two undertrials escape

Patna, Sept 04 (UNI) Two undertrials today escaped from police van when they were returning to Beur jail after their appearnce in Patna civil court.

Police Superintendent Vikash Vaibhav said two prisoners Ravi Kumar and Jamun escaped from the police van near Bhikhari Thakur bridge under Sachivalay police station here.

Investigation was on and action would be taken against the policemen found guilty of dereliction of duty.

Raids were on to arrest the prisoners, he added.
