Terror attack on Iraq pilgrims condemned

Hyderabad, Sep 3 (UNI) All India Seerat-e-Zehra Committee today urged the Andhra Pradesh Government to announce an ex-gratia of Rs five lakh to the families of the three persons who were killed while on a pilgrimage to holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain in Iraq on September one.

The Committee convened a meeting to condole the death of three persons. The meeting also condemned the killing.

The deceased were identified as two from Hyderabad and one from Visakhapatnam.

The meeting also demanded a job to one family member to each of the three deceased.

The CPI(M) leader P Madhu, MP said he would represent the Central Government to ask the Iraqi Government to ensure the safety of the pilgrims, a release issued by All India Seerat-e-Zehra Committee General Secretary Ali Raza said here tonight.
