Strict action against drunken driving: SP

Kancheepuram, Sep 4 (UNI) Police have registered cases against 50 persons for drunken driving in this district.

Police said the action followed advice from Superintendent of Police Amalraj.

The local transport authorities will be instructed to temporarily suspend their licences, Mr Amalraj said and warned of strict action against those driving under the influence of alcohol.
