Meanwhile, Prof Harbhajan Singh Sabharwal's son Himanshu met Governor Balram Jakhar in Bhopal today. ''I have requested a CBI probe into the matter,'' he said.
Mr Himanshu alleged that he received anonymous threats to maintain silence over his father's murder.
The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee has called a statewide 'bandh', coinciding with Teachers' Day, in support of demands including a CBI inquiry into the death of Prof Sabharwal who was allegedly fatally assaulted by students incensed over postponement of an union poll at Madhav College.
