Noted journalist B S Padmanabha is dead

New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Noted journalist B S Padmanabhan died here today after a brief illness.

Padmanabhan, who was 80, is survived by his wife and four sons. One of his sons, P Sunderrajan is a Special Correspondent with The Hindu.

Padmanabhan had worked with The Hindu for more than 40 years.

Even after retirement, he led an active public life and was a key office bearer of Samachar Apartments and the Riverside Sports Club in the capital.

He was suffering from cancer of the pancreas for some months.
