Governor greets Malayalees

Chennai, Sep 4 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor S S Barnala today conveyed his warm felicitations and heartiest greetings to the Malayalees in the country on the occasion of Onam, the harvest festival.

In a message here, the Governor said ''Onam is a symbol for brotherhood and equality. Let us unite together to commit ourselves to hard work for prosperity and promote peace and communual harmony.

''On this joyous occasion, I convey my warm felicitations and heartiest greetings to Malayalees all over the country and particularly in Tamil Nadu, wishing them a happy and a prosperous future,'' he said.
