Goa Governor extends Onam greetings

Panaji, Sep 4 (UNI) Goa Governor S C Jamir has extended warm greetings on Onam to all the people from Kerala and Goa.

The Governor in his message said, ''We, in this country, have inherited a great legacy of unity in diversity. Our efforts should be to celebrate all festivals irrespective of any feelings on religion, language or region and thus foster emotional integration, goodwill and friends.'' ''May celebration of Onam help in promoting greater social solidarity and national integration, besides joy and prosperity to one and all,'' he added.
